to seven days of intenses events in a mix of history, cultural meetings, great concerts, shows and medieval attractions, historical duels (
with the 13th Italian and 7th International Tournaments), rediscovery of the territory and historical re-enactment in every corner of our ancient village, under the protecting shadow of the ancient Castle.
During the years we’ve taken thousands of people from Italy and all Europe to our village; we’ve spread the knowledge of our history and roots and with our Association we’ve also been touring Italy and abroad.
One of the targets of our event is involving people, creating a pleasant opportunity to have fun for all who appreciate simplicity and the naturalness of what surrounds, an holiday without time, thought for the people and lived with the people that wants to re-descover past times to better live the present. So, since now, we want to warmly welcome all the people that once more will participate and live with us the 16th edition of Ferie Medievali.

Here we are! It’s time to enlist ! To Arms ! To “Arts” ! The Arms are, obviously, the historical ones and the Arts are your skills in, passionately, re-enacting historical duels by the ancients fencing schools, in front of the great crowd that will, as usual, reach Pavone Canavese and in front of a selected International Jury of Masters.
It’s time for Tournaments : the 7th edition of the International Tournament of Historical Duel “FUROR ET FERRUM” © and the 13th edition of the National Italian Tournament that will be held during the XVI Ferie Medievali di Pavone Canavese (Turin) in Italy on the 5 and 6 of June 2010.
As every year we’ll be hosting from entire Europe, and from every Italian region hundreds of excellents Master of Arms, coreographers, fencers, re-enactors of the historical martial arts for the Tournaments of Historical Duel and to give life to the ancient village during some unforgettable days.
If you have received the e-mail invitation, you are officially waited in Pavone. So you just have to compile the enlist form and/or contact me for every detail.
If you didn’t receive it and you want to participate for the first time, we are waiting for all the infos on your Company/Academy, to evaluate and discuss your welcomed presence to our International Tournament.
